HOW TO UPDATE A BOOK ON AMAZON

Thanks to all of you who participated in my weekend promotion of Missi’s Dating Adventure (Second edition).

An update is available for those who bought the first edition of the book by: Log on to your Amazon account. Click on Manage my devices. Select Settings and then automatic book update. You’ll then be kept updated on all your Amazon book orders. 🙂

  1. Great that you posted this Carol. I know I absent-mindedly thought I had to redownload, but I already had this option on, so I’ll be ready to read your updated version. I’m sure many others will find this post useful. 🙂

      • Hi Carol. I have my update setting enabled. Since I haven’t read the book yet, I’m not sure what has changed. When I open the book, it doesn’t tell me anything has changed. The copyright is still 2013, but I don’t see anything that says ‘revised edition’, not sure if I should? Where should it tell us if changes have been made, other than just saying that we have ‘enabled’ updates?

      • The author copyright of the second edition is 2015. This appears after the cover and book title pages.
The new version should automatically update when your update setting is enabled.
When you have a chance you might try calling Amazon to let them know that your update function doesn’t seem to be working.
        Good luck! 🙂

      • Thanks for this Carol. Just as I suspected, the copyright edition would be changed. I will find some time to deal with Amazon. 🙂

    • Just make sure that the update function is turned on and is working. This way new editions will be automatically uploaded to your reader. If you’re having problems just call Amazon and they’ll fix it for you 🙂
