On Wednesday, it was Canada Day and I went golfing with my brother. Some Canadian Geese decided to show up to mark the occasion and add to the sand and water traps. Dreadful obstacles.
The geese seemed to have more confidence that I did about airing my shot over them. They were perfectly oblivious to my presence.
I, on the otherhand, had little confidence. I picked up my ball and called it a good Canada Day.
Happy 4th of July to all my American blogger friends
I know what you mean, Carol. I don’t think I’d be able to do a shot over the geese, either… I hope you enjoyed your Canada Day!

Lol, Happy Canada Day Carol. Tell me about it. We have tons here. They are stubborn and pissed off that people built homes on their properties. They do sometimes cross the road and don’t care if they hold up cars lol ❤

Once while golfing, I had a Canadian geese approach our golf cart and snatch my cheese crackers out of the cart. I think he was hungry!

Yes, even in Canada we do have a hunger problem! Hope your July 4th is a happy one, Jill. ❤

Aaah Carol my friend – you buried the lead! Did you get a “birdie” or not on the hole??? 🙂

Definitely not in the hole and not a birdie either (ha-ha!) . I was so concerned that I’d hit one of those birds. Have a great day, Ellie.

Thanks for sharing!.. in an effort to preserve the dignity of the sport of golf, I remain a spectator… 🙂
Hope all is well in your part of the universe and life is all that you wish for it to be!.. 🙂
Until we meet again..
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your way,
May songbirds serenade your
every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.
May the sun shine all day long
Everything go right, nothing go wrong
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true

Oh, dear, we have a lot of Canada geese here in the southern US. They used to just winter here, now it’s seems they are permanent residents 😉 Their “output” is “impressive.” I cannot imagine trying to golf around them. A belated Happy Canada Day to you!

There has to be a golf rule for a bird hazard, isn’t there?
